How the Best Illinois Teachers Handle Difficult Situations

How do they navigate contentious discussions and controversial topics? Join the College Teaching Effectiveness Network (CTEN) for this workshop to find out! David Tokarz, Wendy Truran, David Morris, and Suzanne Linder are four award-winning teachers who will speak about their experience across a variety of class formats and disciplines. The workshop will take the form of a guided panel discussion with grounding questions adapted from Ken Bain's What the Best College Teachers Do followed by an open Q&A session.
